Last year when I took my son on our 1st Annual Koken Cares Humanitarian Trek I asked him at the end what his favorite part of the trip was. We had just finished climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. We had been on 2 safari’s. We had danced with Masai Warriors.
He said, “Dad, it was the days we spent at the schools with the kids where we were drilling their wells.”
That trip and his statement have forever changed my perspective on what matters in my life.
